The Phenomena of Distraction
by Richard Gerber the Original Source
The Phenomena of Distraction (1) – Invariably when one approaches the
highest vibration and knowing of self and stands upon the threshold
of witnessing and being the ultimate reality especially in a group,
a distraction can occur pulling back your awareness, a grounding via
a conflict an odd or dramatic event. Perhaps it serves a purpose; a
balancing of higher energy with the emanation of a lower energy. As
our vibration is lowered the other is raised. It is as if just as
one is bout to wake up and one is pulled back into the drama, but if
we can glide through without engaging beyond simply witnessing the
event or manifestation we are may be enlightened and return to our
higher vibration having had a glimpse of the divine comedy behind it
all and in so doing lift the vibration of all.

The Law of Distraction (2) – People seek distraction from their own
truth often focusing on the faults of others or valueless
entertainment. The media is very happy to provide the distractions
people seek and are paid well for enabling the people in their
attempts to live in ignorance avoiding the truth about themselves
and the society they live in. Although we may pay them directly with
the purchase or rental of the movie they also sell some of your
attention time and space to others so whatever you allow to get your
attention is what they will supply. If the people didn’t watch the
mind fluff there would not be much if any. ~Infinite Play Illusions

The Law of Distraction (3) – Those that depend on an illusion to
create an unnatural or disproportionate advantage seek to create for
others distractions from the truth behind the appearances.
